Who else benefits from LuMe?

Car, bus, and truck drivers benefit significantly from seeing you earlier. After all, they are the ones who want to see you early, anytime and anywhere, so they can react accordingly.

Are there comparable products?

LuMe is a patented invention from Austria and is unique.

Do cars keep more distance?

In cooperation with Radlobby Österreich, measurements were carried out using the Open Bike Sensor. We found that cars keep their distance by a significantly greater margin. LuMe provides other road users with a clear point of reference.

Why do I need LuMe if my bike already has lights?

Your bike light shows the way—at ground level. But LuMe shows you. Cyclists among cars and SUVs are often noticed too late. LuMe makes you visible sooner—from more perspectives and at eye level with traffic. Because visibility means safety.

Which bicycles is LuMe suitable for?

Whether it's a city bike, e-bike, cargo bike or bike trailer – LuMe was designed to make it easy to retrofit as many bicycles as possible.

Why is LuMe taller than regular bike lights?

Because visibility starts where bike lights end. LuMe creates a 360° light signal and makes you visible from all directions. LuMe doesn't shine brighter, but where it is seen.

Is LuMe approved for use on public roads?

LuMe is developed and tested in accordance with applicable European requirements. LuMe is CE certified and complies with the requirements of the StVO (AT).

Can I remove LuMe / switch it between wheels?

Yes. LuMe can be quickly installed and removed. When multiple bicycles are used, LuMe can be flexibly deployed with additional mounts.

When will LuMe be available?

How much does LuMe cost?

How long does the battery last?

Yes. Rain, fog, and splashes are part of everyday life. LuMe was designed to reliably accompany you in all weather conditions.
